    Input fields

    • Target keyword — Enter the exact phrase you want to rank for. 'AEO for SaaS' produces better output than 'AEO'. The keyword drives the title, opening definition, and FAQ structure.
    • Target audience — Describe who is reading this. 'SaaS founders with no technical SEO background' produces a different article than 'SEO professionals'. Affects vocabulary, examples, and assumed knowledge.
    • Additional context — Instructions your knowledge base does not cover. Examples: 'Include a pricing section', 'Avoid mentioning competitor X'. This field takes priority over the knowledge base.

    Title selection

After clicking Generate, WriteCited shows 3 title options before writing the full article:

    • Best for AI citation — question-format title, highest citation probability
    • Best for SEO — keyword-forward title, strongest traditional ranking signal
    • Best for conversion — benefit-led title, highest click-through potential

    Output quality tips

    • Fill your knowledge base completely before generating
    • Use specific keywords — 'AEO for SaaS' not 'AEO'
    • Set word count to at least 1,200 — articles below 1,000 words rarely score above 75
    • Use additional context to inject specific statistics or facts
